Worthy

“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” (Ephesians 4:1)

I’m thinking of the whole word given here by Paul to, “live a life worthy of the calling.” Worthy. A word speaking of great value. ‘Worth’ is defined as: “the value of something measured by its qualities or be the esteem in which it is held. Moral or personal value. Merit, excellence, wealth, riches.” Therefore, living a life that is worthy is to live one that is lifted high in value; an excellent,rich life.

The Lord has been speaking to me a lot lately in this very area. This year of 2010 is one of great apostolic expansion and prophetic fulfillment. One in which the Kingdom of God will advance with real power and authority.

It is also one in which the Body of Christ is called to the passionate pursuit of God as never before. We are being called to return to our First Love. We are being called into a FASTED LIFE.

This FASTED LIFE is literally the one the Apostle Paul declared in Philippians 3:13b-14: “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

The Lord is saying, “Seek Me. Let go of everything else: All your past ways of believing, thinking, speaking, behaving. Let go of it all. For I AM making all things new. And, in these coming days you will see the NEW Glory of My Kingdom as never before. You will hear NEW Sounds of Heaven, sounds you have never heard before. You will be amazed at NEW signs, wonders, miracles beyond all expectations. For, I AM making all things NEW. NEW anointing for a NEW DAY, NEW gifting and callings, NEW doors opening for Kingdom Expansion, NEW abundant provision and outpouring of Kingdom Supply. All these, and more, are coming to you. Swiftly, powerfully from My Hand.”

“I AM opening the doors wide. A great harvest is at hand. Those coming want to SEE not merely HEAR. They do not want more information about Me; They want to see, to experience ME. And, they will do so through you. You are My Glory. And you will show forth that Glory. And, great healing will come to the land.”

“But, you MUST Seek Me above all others. You must not have any other little gods before Me. Little gods of religious doctrinal beliefs, little gods of the mental strongholds, little gods of the tongue and voice, little gods of ego, vanity, pride controlling your behavior. All must go for they are false gods preventing you from experiencing all I have for you,” says the Lord.

“I have given you LIFE, Life Abundant. You are MY INHERITANCE, and I AM YOURS. I AM your Provider and your Provision. The life I’ve called you to is the highest life, the most excellent life. Therefore, LIVE MY LIFE IN YOU.”

“I have turned you,” says the Lord, “Turned you inside out. My ways are not your ways, and I have turned you from your ways to Mine. I have taken you from the place of RELIGIOUS PERFORMANCE and brought you INTO MY PRESENCE. I have been pleased to give you My Kingdom. Therefore, do not go back to your old ways. If you do, then you will not see the NEW I have for you.”

The Lord says, “Remember, My Beloved, your behavior is not what matters to Me. Your HEART matters. For, out of your heart flows rivers of living water that will alter your behavior. It never happens any other way.”

“Beloved, seek FIRST My Kingdom and My Righteousness. Seek FIRST My Kingdom and MY PRESENCE. That is the way to the life worthy of your calling. All other ways are broad ways leading only to destruction. Seek Me through the narrow way, the FASTED WAY, and you will experience WORTH. You will experience the riches of My Glorious Inheritance IN YOU,” says the Lord.
