Time to Wake Up

“So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you ageless doors of destiny!
Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.
You ask, “Who is this Glory-King?” The Lord, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One,
invincible in every way!” (Psalm 24:7-8 TPT)

The last few days, the Lord has been speaking to me about ‘Time’. Especially about the time of “Awakening.” And, I am hearing Him say: “It’s time to wake up! It’s time to shed the garments of slumber and put on garments of travel.”

“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14)

The Lord says, “Wake up! For now is the time of movement! Wake up! For I am about to move you into greater Glory! Wake up! And see the Light of the new season and the new day of destiny breaking forth around you!”

“Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me!
I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out.
For now is the time, my beautiful one.
The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone.
The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny
breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth.
The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.”
Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” (Song of Songs 2:10-13 TPT)

Many in the Church have been in a season of waiting. This waiting has been like a ‘hunkering down’, a time in which our focus has been on the violent, chaotic atmosphere around us. In other words, the waiting has been more from a place of fear than of faith. That has now changed. There’s a major ‘Wake Up Call’ being issued by the Spirit. It’s time to move! It’s time to shift from the place of waiting in fear for the Lord to come to our rescue, to the place of worship in the power and splendor of the holiness of the Lord!

I love these words! — “Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.”

The ‘ageless doors of destiny’ are being opened right now. They are being opened so that the King of Glory will ‘come through you’—He is entering with Glory and Power and Might. He is, “The Lord, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, invincible in every way!”

I’m saying all this because we are moving rapidly into the new stage of our journey as the Church. The Church is about to be taken higher and further than we’ve ever imagined. These days will define us in the coming age. And, it is glorious beyond expression!

Do not fear these days of great shaking and violent rage, for they will not prevail. The Lord is moving rapidly through His Church, bringing a tidal wave of Glory—He IS the Lord of Glory—and, what we are seeing in the natural realm, the violence and onslaught of demonic activity is a clear sign of the nearness of the Lord’s coming.

So, my word to you is: Do not fear!

“My heart, O God, is quiet and confident, all because of you. Now I can sing my song with passionate praises! Awake, O my soul, with the music of his splendor. Arise my soul, and sing his praises! I will awaken the dawn with my worship, greeting the daybreak with my songs of light. Wherever I go I will thank you. All the nations will hear my praise songs to you.”
“Then I heard the Lord speak in his holy splendor, and from his sanctuary I heard the Lord promise: “In my triumph I will be the one to measure out the portion of my inheritance to my people, and I will secure the land as I promised you.” (Psalm 108:1-3, 7 TPT)

With this in mind, one more thing is stirring. And, that is the release of prayer and intercession in this hour in the atmosphere of worship.

David speaks from the place of victorious confidence, and declares the release of his song. This release carries the power of passion found in the Splendor of God’s Holiness.

This is the worship that will shake the nations. And it is precisely this worship that brings the response of the Lord: “I will secure the land as I promised you.”

Let me release this over you right now:

Father, I declare that we are ready to move! I declare that we are casting off our old garments of doubt, wondering, fear, and the clothes of waiting. We lay aside every weight that has been holding us down. And we rise up NOW to run with You to the high places of Glory!

I ask now for the spirit of revelation and the spirit of wisdom to move with powerful authority in us! Open our eyes to see and our ears to hear as never before! so we shall make decisions, and offer up our intercession and prayers that are in complete agreement with You, O Lord!

I plead the Blood of the Lamb over Your Church. And, I declare that no destruction shall enter our borders or any violence be heard in our land! No weapon formed against us shall prevail in any way. For we are overshadowed by Your Presence, covered by Your Blood!

And I pray the release of worship from the place of victory!

Even as I pray this, I am hearing You say, “Awaken the dawn with worship! Greet the daybreak with songs of light!” Let every breath resonate with the Sound of Heaven! Release the Song of the Lamb of Love to all creation!”

I hear this in my spirit, and I am hearing You say, “Release the Sound! Release the Sound of Praise! Let the sound of your life be filled with the joy of the Lord! Let the atmosphere around you expand in the fullness gladness!”
“Release Joy! Release love filled Joy wherever you go, for this is the praise that will shake the nations! Your Song infused with My Song shall cause all the earth, and every nation, tribe, Kingdom to behold My Glory!”

O my Lord, thank You!

We worship You, Mighty One, King of all Glory! We adore You, Lord God Almighty, for You alone are worthy! You alone are worthy of all honor and glory and power and praise! Strength and Honor belong to You! For You are invincible in every way! And You rule and reign upon the Throne of All Glory!
