Springing Forth
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)
This is an exciting, and defining time. There are many emotions, thoughts, dreams, visions, ideas, and more all floating around inside. I am encountering so many people who, like me, are experiencing a sense of urgency and expectancy. A very real sense of hope in the midst of great turmoil.
In the Spring of 2007, I felt the shifting of paradigm from the external realm of the ‘kingdoms of men’ to the interior realm of Spirit and the Kingdom of God. And, God said that all things were being turned inside out, and powerful ‘changes’ were taking place. In 2008, we went through a major election in this nation, one that was built around ‘change’. Since that time, and up till the present, there has been constant change, much of it not good in many ways. We’ve experienced the collapse of housing and financial markets, massive business and job loses, political actions placing the very future of our nation in very real peril; not to mention natural ‘disasters’ of various kinds. And yet, there is the growing sense we are on the threshold of the greatest move of God ever.
Spring is a significant season in God’s calendar; and, if we line up with what God is doing, April can be a most powerful month in the bringing forth what we have been holding onto deep in our hearts.
All this is floating inside me as I am hearing the Lord say:
“This is not the time to hold on to your past. Let it all go. Forget what is behind you, for this is a new day, a new time, a new season. All this shaking, all this turmoil in the land, is to wake you up. You have been wandering in a wasteland. You have lost your way in a barren desert. You have listened to the siren calls, the seductive voices of deceitful spirits wooing you to follow them with promises of great glory and fame; but, you have found your riches rotting around you. Instead of life, liberty, and happiness, you have found only death, bondage, and fear. LET IT ALL GO.”
“I AM doing a new thing. This is a NEW DAY. I AM making a way for you,” says the Lord. “A way that is properous and abundant. A way that is filled with life.”
“Now is the time to plow up what you think is hard and barren ground. You must look beyond the surface, Beloved, and see what I see. Just below the surface the soil is rich, moist, filled with life. The Waters of Life are flowing there. Streams of Living Water have already prepared the soil and nurtured the seeds of your desires, hopes, and dreams. They have already sprung to life, they are growing rapidly toward the surface and about to produce the fruitful harvest.”
“And, as you set the plow to this ground, to your amazement it will give way readily. It will break loose with increasing ease. You hard labor is at an end, the time of celebration is at hand. The time of New Wine, of New Songs of Deliverance, Salvation, and Healing.”
“I tell you now, that if you will forget what is behind you and push toward what is ahead, you will truly see a rich, abundant harvest. Now, is the Day of Breakthrough. Now, is the Day of Birthing. You are about to hold in your hands the fulfillment of your many dreams and desires. They will be for you a Stream in the Desert, a Fruitful Garden in the Wasteland. This will be for the Glory of My Name; for you, Beloved, are My Glory, you are My Delight. You carry My Name and I will not fail you. Let Go and Press In! Let Go and Press In! Watch and See, for it is Springing Up NOW.”
