Overshadowed
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1)
These words speak of a wondrous eternal truth. We are created to have our dwelling place, our habitation, within the intimate place of God’s Presence.
We are living in very tumultuous times. A time in which there is a constant stream of violence, rage, anger, and fear. A time of frantic, nervous activity. And, the question is how do we as believers not just cope with all the world is throwing at us; but, truly live in a way as to rise above it all.
For me, the answer is simple: we must come out of the pattern of the world system and engage a deepening intimacy with our God.
We can never know peace in a world of turmoil unless we first find rest in God.
