New Garments for a New Day

Yesterday, during prayer before church, I was impressed with the words, ‘garments of praise’. I began to see, in my spirit, garments woven with strands of gold, fire, oil, wind, and jewels of all kinds. They garments so glorious, so filled with splendor that they shone like the sun. And, they were floating down, softly, upon the people.

Now, the people were bowed down, like they were wearing heavy weights. There was a sadness upon them. There was a sense of worry, anxiety, fear, despair. And, the garments came down upon them. And, as they were ‘adorned’ they began to rise up-tall and straight-and, they began to PRAISE. The power of their praise shook the heavens and the earth. And, the glory of the Lord poured out upon the heavens and the earth like a flood.

In that moment, I heard the Lord say, “new garments for a new day.”

Isaiah 61:2-3 says, “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

And, I am lead to Revelation 21 where John is shown “the bride, the wife of the Lamb”. Taken to a great, high mountain, he is shown “the Holy City, Jerusalem” which “shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel..” (Rev. 21:9-37) (read the whole passage–it is awesome!!)

The Lord says, “I AM bringing you new garments for a new day. I AM removing all your old garments, stripping away everything that has hidden your beauty. And, I AM bringing you new garments.”

“For you, My Bride, are glorious; but, you have been burdened with a yoke of bondage; you have been cloaked with garments of despair. And, their heaviness has weighed you down.”

“Bowed down, you have been afflicted by the spirit of infirmity, bound by satan. The voices of failure, fear, poverty, and disease have told you that you are worthless. And, you have cried out, ‘I have nothing to offer, nothing to give. I can do nothing great and glorious for God; for, I am worthless.’ “

“But, that is all a lie,” says the Lord. “Religion has told you that My Bride is ugly, spotted, wrinkled, filled with blemish. A Bride that will only reveal glory in Heaven; but, not on the earth. That is a lie. A lie to keep you in bondage. For you are altogether wonderful, altogether beautiful.”

“I made you beautiful by the Blood of My Cross. There is no flaw in you. The power of My Blood washed every flaw away. My Blood destroyed the works of the enemy, destroyed the voice of infirmity that speaks, ‘not enough, never good enough.’ You are BEAUTIFUL, altogether BEAUTIFUL,” says the Lord.

“And, I AM about to prove this to all creation: to all in Heaven, on the earth, and under the earth. For, I AM bringing to you new garments to replace the old. They are garments woven with GOLD and JEWELS; for you, My Bride are a PROSPEROUS BRIDE. I will prove this to all creation, for I AM realigning the wealth of the nations, I AM transfering the wealth of kingdoms of men to YOU. Watch and see-ABUNDANCE is coming upon you, for you are a PROSPEROUS BRIDE.”

“And, these garments are woven with WIND, OIL, FIRE; for you, My Bride, are MY PRESENCE on the earth-My authority and power IS YOURS. I will prove this to all creation in the days ahead, for I AM releasing the WIND of MY VOICE , the FRESH ANOINTING OF MY SPIRIT, and the POWER-MIRACULOUS POWER of My Kingdom in you and through you. Watch and see-REVIVAL is coming upon you, and the transformation of nations is about to explode around you; for, you are a POWERFUL BRIDE, a PRESENCE-FILLED BRIDE, ” says the Lord.

“Therefore, My children, lift up your heads. Begin to PRAISE, begin to PRAISE. Embrace these new garments, for they are your joy, your strength in a new day. Let your PRAISE be lifted up. You are the DISPLAY OF MY SPLENDOR, and all creation tremble, will shake, and will be healed.”
