Light Be!

“For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.”
“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.”
(2 Corinthians 4:6-7 TPT)

“Brilliant Light”!! “Let there BE LIGHT!” “LIGHT BE!”
I am captivated by these words! That doesn’t really begin to describe what I feel as I read these words and think of the dynamic, awesome truth!

Everything is LIGHT! The Sound of Heaven, the Voice of Yahweh, is LIGHT BEING! And he “cascades” his Light into us!

What fascinating word! I see a waterfall and the water cascading down into the pool below, and there’s the sound—wave after wave of frequencies tumbling together—as the waters crash into the pool below. And a cloud of mist rises from the pool as the waters combine together. What’s fascinating is that so often there’s a “rainbow” in the mist! The refraction of LIGHT!

So, I’m sitting here thinking of this, and I’m hearing: “LIGHT BEING! LIGHT BEING SEEN!”

The brilliant dawning Light of Glory filling us as we gaze INTO the Face of God. This is the reality of LIFE! Life IN CHRIST! This is the greater reality of ‘who we are’, ‘where we are’, and ‘why we are’ (our identity, position, and purpose). Taking hold of this radically changes everything!

“Our confidence stems from knowing that even though it might feel at times that we are merely reduced to flesh; our greater reality is that we are entwined in the Lord. He is our permanent abode!”    (2 Corinthians 5:8 MIRROR)

“Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.” (Psalm 89:15 NKJV)

“Lord, when you said to me, “Seek my face,” my inner being responded, “I’m seeking your face with all my heart.””      (Psalm 27:8 TPT)

I’m thinking of all this knowing it is a heart of everything. Yes, it really is our “Greater Reality” and the manifestation of LIGHT BEING is coming!

Paul speaks of this:  “We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.”

Now, with that said, I am seeing this! I am seeing my body, this common clay jar, and within my body is this “glorious treasure” of Light-the Presence of JHVH! I am, as are all Blood-redeemed lovers of God, Yahweh’s Dwelling Place.

So, I am seeing myself as this ‘clay jar’, and I’m seeing myself changing! The Light hidden within the ‘clay’ is beginning to radiate from the ‘clay’. It’s like the clay is being transformed, becoming more and more “translucent”! I am still me, still in this body of clay; but, what has filled my body at the subatomic level is causing the complete re-configuring of my DNA, the ‘matter’ of my flesh changing from a dense, earthly substance into a radiant, heavenly substance. The term “Transformation unto Transfiguration” is what I am seeing.

 I believe this is the revelation of John’s decree:

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
(I John 4:17 NKJV)

    I believe with all my heart this is what is happening right now!

The Lord is opening us to our destiny as his Lovers of Light! He is reconfiguring our bodies right now to become the Luminous Manifestation of his Presence in this world!

This is the greater reality of “Who we are—Light as God is Light”, “Where we are—Enfolded into Christ, “Why we are—to be as he is in this world.”

Can there be anything greater than this?!
