YOD HEY VOV HEY! I breathe You!
I am caught by these words and feel deep within what the beloved felt as she moved past her old life to encounter and catch You! There’s such intense emotion! It’s breathtaking and intoxicating!
As your Beloved moves past the watchmen (guardians) of the city (the established ruling structure), she suddenly encountered You. This speaks volumes to my soul!

I’ve lived my whole life within the established ruling structure. I know how powerful and controlling it is. I’ve even been a watchman of the structure. I know the way that whole system operates. And it’s a system that exists in every form of earthly life, not just in the church.
Now, like your Beloved, I have moved past all that! What caused me to move? LOVE! The irresistible pull of Love deep within my soul. What stirred within your Beloved stirred in me and I couldn’t stay where I was! It was like a “bed of travail” (See vs. 1).
YOD HEY VOV HEY! I’m learning to love!
The stirrings in my heart are a wake up call to Love! They are the words of the Beloved, “I found the one I adore!”
LORD, I’m reminded of A.W. Tozer who wrote that a scribe only reports what others have experienced. A prophet speaks of what he or she has seen by experience. That came to mind as I thought of what’s expressed by your Beloved and what I’m experiencing in You!
I have found the One I adore! I am “Re-membering”, awakening to who I always have been in You! To find You is to find myself!
Now, I am beginning to understand your Beloved here. And I’m seeing a progressive movement. Caught up in Love she declares her refusal to be feeble in her heart. Yet, she has not fully awakened to her complete Union. Her dream in chapter five (see Song of Songs 5:2-7) is a reminder to me of the ongoing movement of transformation. The ever increasing pull deeper into Your Heart until all that once formed the framework of life in this world becomes a dream, a fading memory of the past!
Here in this moment, I am reminded that the fullness of Life is found in Love, and that Love is found, nurtured, brought into completeness in the Secret Chambers of Intimate Union. I see it in your Beloveds words. She caught You, fastened herself to You, brought You into her Temple!
Oh my Love! My LORD! YOD HEY VOV HEY! There’s a swirling of images in my spirit of the “temple within.” She speaks of her “innermost parts” and I’m seeing the beautiful sonogram photo of a baby in its mother’s womb, and I’m seeing my Garden and within the Garden is the Altar and the golden Laver of Fire. The Flames are rising and filling the atmosphere with intoxicating fragrances of incense and intense, overwhelming heat! And I’m enveloped in this atmosphere which is pulsating all around me! I haven’t experienced this before in this way; but, it feels like being in the Womb!
At the same time, I’m also experiencing this atmosphere as the Bridal Chamber. The place of ultimate intimacy where I am wrapped in an embrace of ecstasy! The pulsating movement in the intense heat of the Flames of Love is the dance, the Dance of Lover and Beloved in the Union of the two made one!
YOD HEY VOV HEY! YOD HEY VOV HEY!
All this is hard to describe! But, it’s what we are created for! A life of Intimate Union with You! A returning to the reality of our true Life. And to embrace this is to shatter every illusion of separation from You because of sin and death! To embrace and begin to live from Intimate Union is to bring forth the reality of Heaven on earth!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
(II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)
Yeshua, everything about the Beloved’s song resonates New Creation! Every facet of being enfolded into You and the experience made real, tangible and powerful in a life lived from our place of intimacy.
