Dwelling in His Presence

Psalm 91 says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” God invites us to ‘enter’ His rest, to come into His presence and find in that place of BEING perfect peace.

I am convinced that in these days of such turmoil and ‘unrest’ we need now, more than ever, the Rest of God.

How can this happen for me? How can I begin to experience what the psalmist declares?

By stopping the striving, the ‘doing to become’ and simply ‘BE’. One cannot expect to find rest in the endless working of religion and striving to live up to the expectations of men. But, we can find rest when we embrace who we are in Christ-Blood redeemed eternal children of God, and from that place LIVE.
