Bliss has Blossomed
“The wilderness and dry land will be joyously glad! The desert will blossom like a rose and rejoice! Every dry and barren place will burst forth with abundant blossoms, dancing and spinning with delight! Lebanon’s lush splendor covers it, the magnificent beauty of Carmel and Sharon. My people will see the awesome glory of Yahweh, the beautiful grandeur of our God.â€
(Isaiah 35:1-2 TPT)
These verses in Isaiah are a strong word of encouragement for the times we are in. So many are struggling with what is happening in the world today. And, the question is asked, “Is there really hope for us in the future?†The answer is a resounding, “YES!â€
The Lord began to speak to me about this as I looked at Isaiah 35.
“The wilderness and dry land will be joyously glad!â€
These opening words are resonating in me. Every dry and thirsty place of my being is rising up in JOY! I am sensing a powerful shift in the very fabric of my being!
In all my life I have never felt this way. Like many, I’ve lived many years in the wilderness of religion and the dry land of separation, longing to see the powerful display of God’s goodness in the land; yet, experiencing a whole lot of disappointment. I am not alone in feeling like this.
This is radically different. There’s a change in the air all around us! The very landscape of our lives is changing from one of barrenness to BLISS!
There is a powerful movement of the Spirit in the hearts of God’s people as we are shifting from one age into a whole new age.
This is a movement out of the wilderness and into the promised land. This has stirred a longing in our hearts…As David put it in Psalm 63——
“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.â€
(Psalm 63:1)
All that is OVER! For the Lord comes like a sweet fragrance, a radiant Glory! And those whose hearts are yearning for Him are awakening to His coming.
“Who is this coming out of the wilderness Like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all the merchant’s fragrant powders?†(Song of Solomon 3:6)
The days of wilderness wandering are OVER! I want you to hear this! I want you to know this! The Lord is coming! He is drawing near and awakening us to the reality of who we really are and why we are here.
Your greatest days are right in front of you!. I invite you to take the time to listen to this meditation– (“Bliss has Blossomed”)
