Bless the Lord

King David made an astounding declaration: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!” (Psalm 103:1)

When God made His divine covenant with man in Genesis 1:26-28, He not only created us in His very image; but, gave us sovereignty – dominion rule. And, the first place, or ‘sphere of influence’ I have as a man is my own body..my own person.

David knew this. He knew that the way to face life with all its conflicts, dangers, obstacles, and challenges was to bring his own being into alignment with God. He knew it was right and proper to ‘command’ every fiber of his being to rise up in praise. For, it made all the difference in how he would face life.

An important reminder to me as I go through what I’m going through at this time. God is my Healer, my Provider, my Redeemer, my Strength and Shield…and, there is NOTHING that can separate me from His Love.

The track here seeks to capture this atmosphere. Whatever it is that you’re facing, it is my hope that you will, like David..command all that is within you to ‘Bless the Lord’
